On Leave But Working ... Again !!

On Leave But Working ... Again !!

Just like last year ( see HERE ) , I am officially on leave from Dec 12, 2008 to the end of 2008. However, classes need to be conducted, research needs to be done and Ph.D needs to be completed, so I am still working... :(

Let's hope this is not going to be an annual feature.

"Mr. YP Wong is hereby presented the award of the most hardworking lecturer in Malaysia" =D

You should've just cleared your leave earlier in the year...

Well, if I used up too many of my leaves earlier, then I would not have excuses to skip some of the useless meetings.

Okay this is completely off-topic. About the avast! antivirus... can you set it to scan every incoming/downloaded file transferred from other people's computers, especially those via MSN? I 'played' the settings in NOD32 version 3.0 (the antivirus I'm using now) and tested it many times but I think it's not working like the way it should. All along I'd been using the older version and I liked it; it's fairly good in my opinion. But I can't find the right.. er... crack to crack it into the good ol’ working full version I once had and lost thru' HD reformatting. So now I’m stuck with this crappy second-rated one.

And sorry I can’t understand your pain of “on leave but working” because I’m not working (yet) and very irresponsible.

It was rather interesting for me to read this article. Thanks the author for it. I like such topics and everything that is connected to them. I definitely want to read a bit more on that blog soon.
